Are metal piercing loads suitable for shooting the CrossFire target?
No, only lead bullets should be used.
Can the CrossFire target be used with centerfire rifles
No, the CrossFire target is intended for use with handguns up to .45 Colt and .22 rifles.
What are the recommended ranges for use?
From 50 feet to infinity.
Is there a danger of ricochets?
Yes, there is always a danger of ricochet with almost any target and safety practices such as safety glasses, hearing protection, shooting in a safe direction and so on should always be observed. Safety measures should be employed by all present whether shooting or not.
Can I shoot the CrossFire target with my .357 or .44 Magnum?
No, you can shoot .38 Specials out of your .357 Magnum or .44 Specials out of your .44 Magnum, but not magnum loads.
Will the CrossFire target work on an unlevel surface?
Yes, depending on the degree of the unlevel surface, but the efficiency will be reduced.
Does the CrossFire target require any maintenance?
No, other than repainting it after shooting it and occasionally applying a drop of grease to the top of the spindle.
